EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Benefits That Work as Hard as You Do

Employee benefits get complicated fast, and the Affordable Care Act didn't make it simpler. Our team works across the whole spectrum of group plans, and we're one of the few Elite Health Agents in Michigan. Most of our business clients trust us with their benefits too, not just their commercial coverage. We'll help you find a plan that works for your business and your people.

Health Coverage Options

A plan for every kind of business, and every kind of employee.
Group Health Plans
Flexible, affordable group coverage built around what your team actually needs, including HMO, PPO, POS, HSA, and HRA options.
Point Of Service Plans
Employees choose a primary care physician within the network, who can refer them elsewhere when needed, with the flexibility to go outside the network at a lower benefit level.
Health Maintenance Organization
A defined network of providers keeps costs lower, with a primary care physician coordinating care and keeping medical records in one place.
Preferred Provider Organization
More flexibility to choose a provider, in or out of network, in exchange for a higher monthly premium than an HMO.
Health Saving Account
Paired with a high deductible health plan, an HSA gives employees more control over their healthcare dollars, and unused funds roll over year after year.
Health Reimbursement Account
Employer-funded and employer-controlled, an HRA works alongside a high deductible plan to help offset upfront costs without the unpredictability of a traditional premium.
Individual Health Plans
Coverage for employees or individuals who need a plan outside of a group policy, matched to their specific situation.
Medicare
Guidance to help your employees navigate Medicare enrollment and coverage options with confidence, so they choose the plan that fits their needs.
Affordable Care Act
ACA compliance doesn't have to be confusing. We'll walk you through what it means for your business and keep your plan compliant.
Self-Funding
The employer pays claims directly instead of paying fixed premiums to an insurer, offering more control and potential savings for groups that can handle the risk.
Shared Funding
A middle ground between fully insured and self-funded plans, blending predictable costs with the potential savings of self-funding.

Protection for your employees and their families, built into the same benefits package as their health coverage.
Individual Life Insurance
Coverage employees can purchase on their own or supplement through work, providing financial protection for their families beyond group offerings.
Key Person Life Insurance
Coverage that protects your business against the financial impact of losing an owner or essential employee, helping keep operations stable.
Worksite Products
Voluntary benefits like accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage, offered at group rates and payroll-deducted for convenience.
Benefit Enrollment Platforms
Online tools that simplify open enrollment, making it easy for employees to review, select, and manage their benefits each year.
HR & Compliance Service Platforms
Resources and support to help you navigate HR administration and stay compliant with ever-changing employment and benefits regulations.

One Team. Every Plan Option.

You shouldn't need five different vendors to cover health, dental, vision, and life insurance for your team. We coordinate all of it, so open enrollment doesn't turn into a scavenger hunt every year.

We also keep an eye on the ACA compliance side of things, so you're not left guessing whether your plan meets current requirements. That's one less thing on your plate at renewal time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between an HSA and an HRA?

Both pair with a high deductible health plan, but an HSA can be funded by the employer or the employee, and unused funds roll over indefinitely. An HRA is funded entirely by the employer, who also controls how much is contributed and what it can be used for.

Do you help with ACA compliance?

Yes. Helping employers navigate the Affordable Care Act is a regular part of what we do.

What are the main types of disability coverage?

We offer two main types of disability coverage: short-term and long-term disability insurance.

Short-term disability replaces part of your income for a limited time, typically a few weeks up to six months, if you're unable to work due to illness, injury, surgery, or recovery from childbirth. Benefits usually start quickly, often within just a few days.

Long-term disability takes over when short-term coverage ends, protecting your income for more serious or lasting conditions, anywhere from several years up to retirement age, depending on your plan.

Together, these coverages help make sure a health event doesn't turn into a financial crisis for you or your employees.

How many employees do I need to qualify for a group plan?

Group plans are available for businesses of nearly any size. If you're not sure what you qualify for, reach out and we'll walk through your options.

Do you work with multi-state employers?

Yes. Our Employee Benefits team works with businesses well beyond Michigan, including multi-state employers with distributed teams.
