Jim Watson

Jim Watson has been in the insurance industry for over 35 years. He graduated from Ferris State with a degree in Accounting and worked for a national accounting firm for many years. During his time as an accountant Jim met insurance agent, Bill VanderPoorte of Hinds-VanderPoorte. Jim joined Hinds-VanderPoorte in 1995. As the agency grew, Pinnacle Insurance Partners was founded. Upon Pinnacle's acquisition in 2014, Jim and three of his fellow Partners formed Coldbrook Insurance Group. Jim holds both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses and has client relationships with employers of all shapes and sizes. In his free time, Jim enjoys spending time up north hunting, skiing, and sitting fireside. His greatest joy is his family, especially in his new role as Grandpa.
